THE ULTIMATE BENEFIT PACKAGE (The 103-G Plan)

Hello fellow workers. How's your BENEFIT PACKAGE where you work. Health, life, disability, 401-K, stock, vacation, PTO (paid time off), matching funds into retirement. You've got it all. But what happens when the rug is pulled out from under your feet. What happens in corporate downsizing. What happens when your benefits cuts into the profit of your employer. You are left scrambling. Now....your benefits are not your RIGHTS. They are the benevolence of your employer...and it is their choice. As good as some of the BENEFIT PACKAGES that are out there...they are not necessarily your SECURITY. Things change...sometimes without a moments notice. You need a BENEFIT PACKAGE that is stable and secure...you need THE ULTIMATE BENEFIT PACKAGE. Instead of a 401-K...you need a 103-G...God's Psalm 103 BENEFITS PACKAGE.

That's right...I'm talking about the BENEFITS PACKAGE found in the WORD OF GOD. Let's check out Psalm 103:1-5 form the ultimate package.

BENEFIT: Treatment, service, requital, desert, deserving, that which He has given, recompence, pension

This is a package that you can get excited about deep in your mind, your will and your emotions...the totality of who you are...your SOUL.

The Psalmist...King David...is singing about praises for the Lord's mercies. He starts of with a command to himself to bless the Lord.

PREPARATION FOR RECEIVING THE BENEFITS

1. Bless the Lord O my soul: Sometimes when things look dark...or when you don't see God anywhere...you got to sing to yourself and take control of your emotions. What David really says is...soul...mind, will and emotions...BLESS THE LORD.

2. And all that is within me...bless His holy NAME: Again...it is not just a half-hearted effort that you bless the Lord...it is with TOTAL GUSTO.. that you take control of the soul...and command yourself to bless the Lord...especially when you don't FEEL LIKE IT. Bless His holy NAME...the name above all names...the name that is reflective of His character...Jehovah-Jireh the Lord who provides, Jehovah-Shalom the Lord your peace, Jehovah-Raphe the Lord your healer, El Shaddi God Almighty the breasty one who will protect and nuture you will ample provision like a mother. (There are hundreds of names that reflect the multiplicity of the One God's character)

3. Bless the Lord O my soul: Underscoring what needs to be done. Sometimes you've got to get that soul in line...because the natural inclination may not be to Bless but to curse...not to praise but to complain...not to win but to whine.

4. And FORGET none (no not one) of His BENEFITS: So many times... in the fires of trials we forget who our provider is. It is not your job... it is not the state...it is not Washington...it is the Lord God Almighty...who will meet your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus...and there ain't no shortage in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19)
